Designed to celebrate its unique setting, the lodge features soaring vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that invite the outdoors in, filling the space with natural light and beautiful forest views. Wake each morning to the sounds of native birds and keep watch for kangaroos, bandicoots, and possums that call the sanctuary home.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious open-plan living area complete with a fully equipped kitchen, generous dining space, and a comfortable lounge for relaxing after a day of exploring. A cosy wood fire provides warmth during the cooler months, while reverse-cycle air conditioning ensures comfort throughout the year. Fresh linen and towels are provided, along with a complimentary hamper of local produce, fauna feed for the sanctuary’s friendly wildlife, and the local newspaper to enjoy over your morning coffee.
Sheoak Lodge comfortably sleeps up to four guests across two queen bedrooms, thoughtfully positioned in separate wings to provide added privacy and a restful stay.
Outside, the private patio is the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ while taking in the peaceful bushland surrounds. During the cooler months from May to September, gather around your private fire pit and enjoy an evening beneath the stars, whether you’re toasting marshmallows, sharing a bottle of local wine, or simply soaking up the serenity.
